Indian Economic Liberalization in 1991 led the inflows of FDI and FII increased dramatically. As a rapidly growing market and a key sourcing destination, India appeared as the center of global commercial interest and economic activity. Economic liberalization opened up many job opportunities. As a resultant, e-recruitment market was booming and putting pressure on the job portals. Owners of job portals anticipated the bright prospects in the e-recruitment market and got ambitious plans for exploiting mileage out of it. JobsAhead was no exception. It attempted to place the brand in people's minds as a professional job portal, highlighting the benefits on offer at JobsAhead. It implemented various marketing strategies and allocated Rs. 2.5 crore to brand building exercise over a period of 50 days and launched a nationwide campaign called "Ambition". BluEnt created downloadable spectacular screensavers and wallpapers. BluEnt's experienced content developers constructed numbers of polls and quizzes on contemporary topics to engage people on the site.
