   Architectural Views Explained

Architectural Views
Architectural Views are the representation of the overall structure that is to be developed. The architect chooses and develops a set of views that will enable the architecture to be communicated to, and understood by, all the people involved in the development process as well as the clients. A comprehensive architectural view enables the clients to verify that their specifications regarding the structure have been adequately addressed and depicted.

Architectural views usually consist of front, side and plan view; in general and 3D views in particular

One Point Perspective - The structure converges towards the axis of one coordinate. Frequently used for drawings of interiors.

Two Point Perspective - The structure converges towards the axis of two coordinates. Usually used for interiors and exteriors.

Three Point Perspective - A third coordinate is added. The structure converges towards all three coordinates.

Composite View - Provides a comprehensive and complete view of the structure

Technology
AutoCAD - includes a full set of basic solid modeling and 3D tools, can be used as a platform for other products such as Bentley AutoPLANT and COADE CADWORX

3D MAX - is a full-featured 3D graphics application developed by Autodesk Media and Entertainment. It runs on the Win32 and Win64 platforms.

Maya - is a popular, proprietary integrated 3D software suite, evolved from Alias PowerAnimator. Maya is used in the film and TV industry, as well as for computer and video games, and design.
